Dr. Kim Singh is an awarded scholar, practitioner, accomplished leader, and proud Mason resident.

As a child, her upbringing was marked by struggles common to first generation families - financial, cultural, and social. Amid tireless efforts to provide for five children, she witnessed her parents extend support and shelter to others, despite the weight of their own hardships. They exemplified the cultivation of community and creation of safe and supportive environments. It is from their example of leadership and service that has guided Dr. Singh to a lifelong career of service to others.

Her first formal work experience was working with the elderly at the age of 15. Since then, she has spent her career predominantly in the public sector, most notably in her 16 years of service in local government administration. Dr. Singh currently works with the Warren County Board of Developmental Disabilities in a leadership role, previously working with Hamilton County Developmental Disability Services.

In addition to maintaining a demanding leadership role at the county level, Dr. Singh serves individuals throughout the state of Ohio as a clinical mental health therapist. Employing predominantly cognitive behavioral modalities, she treats individuals with varying depression, anxiety, and relationship concerns.

Dr. Singh earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in women’s studies from The Ohio State University. She later pursued her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Xavier University (Cincinnati, Ohio), and received her doctorate in education with focus in organizational leadership from The University of Dayton.

Dr. Singh has been honored by organizations such as the National Board of Certified Counselors and the YWCA of Cincinnati for her work with disadvantaged communities. Guided by duty and passion, Dr. Singh is committed to creating environments of access and agency for all.
